Mark joined The Braff Group in 2008 and successfully completed nearly 100 deals and over $2 billion dollars in transactional value during his career. His experience spans over 40 years in the health care and home health care industries.

Mark is the Senior Managing Director overseeing the home health, home care, hospice, pediatric, and private duty markets across the Eastern United States. He and his team are responsible for the comprehensive representation of each client throughout the entire transaction process including pre-market due diligence, buyer development, marketplace presentation, deal negotiation, contract finalization, and closing. He has represented a full range of sellers including public companies, large regional home health & hospice corporations, multi-division home health care conglomerates, and private duty agencies including both for-profit and not-for-profit entities. Past clients include Addus, Haven Hospice, Angels of Care Pediatrics, Accredited Home Health, Pediatric Home Service, VNA Healthcare Partners, Residential Home Health & Hospice, Providence Care Home Health, Hospice & Housecalls, JourneyCare Hospice, Loma Linda University, and Always Best Care Corporate Franchisor.

Prior to joining TBG, Mark served as VP of Corporate Development for PSA Healthcare, Inc. (now Aveanna), AVP/General Manager for Abbey/Foster Medical (now Apria/Owens Minor, Inc.), and Executive Vice President for a leading home health, hospice, & home medical equipment software vendor. He is regularly interviewed on healthcare merger and acquisition topics by notable news outlets, including Hospice News, Home Health Care News, and other healthcare industry journals. He is also a frequent speaker and panelist at major conferences such as HomeCare 100, The Alliance for Care at Home (formerly NAHC and NHPCO), Aging Media’s FUTURE, ELEVATE, and CAP & STRATEGY Conferences, as well as numerous state association and regional events, webinars, and podcasts. In addition, he frequently presents to both for-profit and not-for-profit boards.

Mark graduated from Fordham University with honors in Economics & Finance and ranks among less than 100 U.S. professionals certified as a Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary. He is an Advisory Board member of the Home Health Finance Management Association (The Alliance for Care at Home) and a Board member of Hillcrest Health Services and Matrix Home Care.
