Rick Miller, MBA

Rick joined The Braff Group as an Analyst in 2018 with a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and valuation. He leveraged this knowledge to successfully guide our clients and Managing Directors through the full spectrum of the deal process. Rick was promoted to Director in 2022 and is now heavily involved in the development and overall direction of the finance team, ensuring continued dealmaking success.

Prior to joining The Braff Group, Rick worked at a boutique investment banking firm where he participated in M&A deals with transaction size up to $600M in various industries, including health care and technology. Rick’s responsibilities consisted of business valuation, transaction due diligence, deal negotiation and execution, financial analysis, and financial modeling. Prior to Rick’s investment banking experience, he worked in accounting and financial analysis at PNC Bank and Schneider Downs & Co., Inc., a public accounting firm.

Rick holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in Finance and a BS in Business Administration with majors in both Finance and Marketing and a minor in Economics. While obtaining his MBA, Rick achieved three academic certificates: Business Valuation, Corporate Financial Management, and Investment Management.
