2017 was a strong year for hospitals and health systems regarding mergers in acquisitions. According to Skilled Nursing News, there were 115 health care deals – up from 102 transactions in 2016. Home Health and Hospice Managing Director Mark Kulik explains that a lot of providers are looking to diversify and add home health or hospice agencies to their holdings.
