Kris joined The Braff Group in 2023 as a Managing Director of Home Health, Home Care and Hospice, Western United States. Kris has over fourteen years of M&A experience in the home health and hospice industry.

Prior to joining The Braff Group, Kris worked at Amedisys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMED), a leading healthcare at home company, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Integration. While at Amedisys, Kris led the organization’s merger, acquisition, health system joint venture, de novo and integration activities. He successfully completed over 50 transactions, allocating $1.5 billion of capital, adding 325 locations which contributed $1.2 billion in revenues. This included the acquisition of Contessa, the leading technology-enabled hospital at home provider. He also led Amedisys’ two largest divestitures which included home health, hospice, and personal care locations nationwide. Roles and responsibilities included capital allocation planning, market strategy and analysis, deal sourcing, valuation and financial modeling, cross-functional due diligence, technical and systems integration, and communications. He also served as a member of the Amedisys Foundation Board of Directors, providing grants to employees, patients, and patients’ families in times of special need or natural disasters.

Kris has been involved in industry trade associations, including the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (“NAHC”) and the Home Health Financial Managers Association (“HHFMA”). In 2021, he was named one of the Future Leaders in Home Health by Home Health Care News. He has served on the HHFMA Work Group since 2018, setting curriculum and planning the annual NAHC Financial Management Conference. He also served on the advisory board for Lincoln Healthcare’s Home Care Innovation and Investment Conference (HI2). Kris has spoken at or been featured in numerous national conferences and publications including NAHC’s Financial Management and Annual conferences, HomeCare 100, Smart Business Dealmakers Nashville, Aging Media’s Home Health Care News, and McKnights Home Care.

Kris graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in International Trade and Finance with a concentration in Empirical Economic Analysis from Louisiana State University.
