A Conversation about the Complexities of Mergers & Acquisitions
Most home health and hospice providers have one or two experiences at buying or selling an agency. This can make the task daunting, confusing, frustrating, and just downright confounding. This session will be an open discussion between an experienced mergers and acquisitions broker and an experienced mergers and acquisitions attorney in the home health and hospice fields. We will discuss why someone might want to sell their agency, why someone might want to buy an agency, when someone might not want to sell their agency, or when a potential purchaser may decide if a particular agency is it worth what the seller wants. While we will discuss the regulatory ins and outs of the process, we will also discuss the practical side in making a decision to either buy or sell an agency.
