The transaction establishes InTandem’s platform in this space.

Premier Care

Community Medical Services, a portfolio company of Clearview Capital, announced its acquisition of Premier Care. The medication-assisted treatment provider operates seven opioid treatment programs (“OTPs”) across Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. This transaction will help CMS expand its efforts in offering treatment for the opioid crisis. The Braff Group served as Premier Care’s exclusive advisor.

Xcite Steps

Based in California, Xcite Steps provides Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Invo Healthcare, a national provider of school and community behavioral health and other therapeutic services to individuals with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, acquired the company. The Braff Group facilitated the transaction.

SimplicityRx, LLC

Simplicity Rx, an independent provider of specialty pharmacy services for chronic disease patients in Ohio and surrounding states was acquired by a subsidiary of CVS Pharmacy. CVS is a large national provider of pharmacy services, and the transaction will expand their patient care resources and infrastructure in Ohio.

WaldenSierra

WaldenSierra, which provides mental health and substance use disorder residential, outpatient, and recovery support services, was acquired by Pyramid Healthcare, a portfolio company of Clearview Capital, LLC. This acquisition expands Pyramid’s footprint to Maryland and increases WaldenSierra’s technical and clinical capabilities to accelerate growth.

Lighthouse Autism Center received a strategic investment from Abry Partners, which represents Abry’s platform entry into the autism services sector.  The partnership with Abry will allow Lighthouse management to accelerate geographic and service line expansion.

Home I.V. Specialists

Home I.V. Specialist, Inc., the largest independent provider of home infusion pharmacy in Arkansas, was acquired by Option Care Enterprises, Inc. Option Care is headquartered in Illinois and is the largest independent national provider of home infusion therapy services. The transaction expands Option Care’s facility footprint and service area throughout the entire state of Arkansas.

Direct Home Health Care

The acquisition of Direct Home Health adds a highly desirable service area to the growing Care Advantage (a portfolio company of BelHealth) Virginia footprint. DHH adds a highly desirable reputation as one of the top para-professional providers in the state complementing CareAdvantage’s strategy to provide a value based outcome driven service.

BrightSpring’s acquisition of Embrace Hospice establishes it’s platform as a high growth, high-quality provider of in-home hospice services in Texas and the southwest.  BrightSpring, formerly ResCare, now has a solid foundation to pursue tuck-in acquisitions throughout the southwest.

Beacon Health System

Great Lakes Caring, a portfolio company of Blue Wolf Captial, acquired the Home Health Care assets of Beacon Health Systems in Indiana and Michigan.  This transaction expands GLC’s existing patient base and service area.  The Braff Group served as Beacon’s exclusive mergers and acquisitions advisor.

Gateway Pediatric Therapy

Gateway Pediatric Therapy received a majority investment from BrightSpring Health Services.  The transaction represents BrightSpring’s entrance into the autism services market in Michigan and an expansion of the company’s overall autism services footprint. The Braff Group provided advisory services to Gateway.

Fairhaven Treatment Center

Fairhaven Treatment Center was acquired by Lindsay Goldberg through its portfolio company, Refresh Mental Health.  The acquisition represents an expansion of capacity for the Refresh Mental Health platform and entrance into a new market, the mid-south United States.

CCMC School, an affiliate of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, was acquired by Pharos Capital Group through its portfolio company, Family Treatment Network (“FTN”).  The acquisition broadens FTN’s special education services and creates an opportunity to provide complementary behavioral health services in the Northeast.

Encompass RX

Encompass RX, an Atlanta Georgia based specialty pharmacy was acquired by CVS Health, Inc. The transaction enhances the existing specialty pharmacy service capabilities of CVS in the southeastern United States.

The S.P.A.R.K.S. Group

The Sparks Group, a provider of applied behavior analysis and speech and language therapy services to children on the autism spectrum in Maryland and the District of Columbia, was acquired by Learn-It Systems, a portfolio company of LLR Partners, Inc.  The transaction expands its MidAtlantic footprint.

Behavior Care Specialists, Inc.

Pharos Capital Group, LLC, through its Family Treatment Network platform, has acquired Behavior Care Specialists. Based in Sioux Falls,  BCS is an outpatient treatment provider of autism spectrum disorder services based on the principles of ABA, serving 140 children across four states. The BCS model adds an early-childhood focused component to FTN’s platform of services.

Central Drugs, a specialty-retail pharmacy servicing chronic disease patients in Oregon, was acquired by the specialty pharmacy division of CVS. The acquisition furthers the goal of providing convenient and quality care to patients with chronic diseases in the Oregon area.

Bower Management Services, LLC

Bower Management Services provides supported living services for individuals with intellectual and/or development disabilities, physical, occupational and speech therapy services, and in-home medical and skilled nursing care to patients. Seven Hills Capital, LLC was the equity sponsor involved in the Recapitalization.

Transcript Pharmacy, a regional specialty pharmacy headquartered in Mississippi, was acquired by Noble Health Services, Inc., a subsidiary of KPH Healthcare Services out of New York. The transaction expands Noble Health’s growing specialty pharmacy business into the southeast and mid-south geography.

Home I.V. Care and Nutritional Services

Home IV Care & Nutritional Services was acquired by Advanced Homecare Inc, a North Carolina based nonprofit corporation focused on servicing patients in the southeastern US. Home IV Care provides home intravenous medications and services to patients throughout Virginia. This acquisition expands Advance Homecare’s footprint into the central Virginia market.

Pyramid Home Health Services

Pyramid Home Health Services, a diversified home care services agency based in Missouri was acquired by Jordan Health Services, a large private equity-backed provider of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance and Private Duty home-based healthcare services. The acquisition allowed Jordan to enter a new state and provide a full continuum of home health and home care services to nearly 4,000 patients statewide.
